Literature Review Self-Reflection

My first literature review was very tricky to do at first; I couldn’t understand how one could  organize information for this kind of paper. All my ideas seemed to come together like jumbled thoughts, with no clear argument in my head. It wasn’t until I started to comprehend that a literature review was not merely summarizing articles, but actually critically analyzing them. That it became easy: identification of key themes, relating studies, and outlining trends within the research. Once I understood what was expected, the process became clearer and more manageable, and I gained confidence in presenting a cohesive review.
